AMAZING GRACE. By Danielle Steel. Delacorte, 324 pages, $27, hardcover.
Earthquake shakes up lives in Steel’s ‘Amazing Grace’

By Annette Russell
Special to THE DAILY

Once again, Danielle Steel brings her readers another great novel in “Amazing Grace.” The story is based in San Francisco and begins with a benefit with a mixture of classes of people attending.

There are several characters involved, and life seems to be going well for everyone involved (almost too well). As in real life, circumstances turn and things change for everyone — some good and some not good. An earthquake changes the characters’ lives.

Thankfully the people at the benefit survive, and the story tells about the trials and triumphs of everyone involved and how they overcome obstacles to carry on with their lives.

There are important, life-altering decisions to consider in this story. These are made with consideration of the results they will bring.

Danielle Steel brings the characters of this story together in a unique and satisfying story.

The title is truly a symbol of the end of the story about forgiveness and amazing grace.

This is a story that could happen to anyone at any time and is told in a very enjoyable way. It is a good book. Danielle Steel does it again.
