Free film on Africa at UAH and A&M
Three years ago, three young men from California traveled to Africa in search of a story. They found one in Northern Uganda, where children were being ripped from their homes and forced to fight as soldiers.
“Invisible Children: Rough Cut” film that resulted from their trip shows the effect of the 20-year war on Uganda’s children and has been featured on Oprah, CNN and the National Geographic Channel.
The free film will be shown Wednesday at 7 p.m. on the UAH campus in Resource Room 126 and on Thursday at 6 p.m. on the Alabama A&M campus in the library’s multi-purpose room.
