More fair fun

The annual Morgan County Fair continues through Saturday, with rides, games, music, exhibits, livestock and concessions.

Gates open at 2 p.m. Sunday, 5:30 p.m. weekdays and noon Saturdays. They close at midnight Friday and 10 p.m. Saturday through Thursday.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Children under 6 are free.

Rides are $1 each or 20 tickets for $15. Here’s the upcoming entertainment at the fair this week:

Sunday: The Spiritual Harmoneers, 7 p.m.

Monday: Square One, 7 p.m.

Tuesday: Jeff Whitlow & The Old Barn Band, 7 p.m.

Wednesday: Next Exit.

Thursday: The Monument Quartet, 7 p.m.

Friday: Alabama Championship Wrestling, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday: Battle of the Bands, 6 p.m.

Heifer and steer shows will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday.
