Food workshop to help Habitat for Humanity

A food preparation workshop and lunch is planned Nov. 6 as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County.

Chef Scott Curry, owner of Curry’s Restaurant in Decatur, will give a grilling demonstration during “Get Cooking with Natural Gas.” Those attending will eat his creations for lunch.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at a new house at 26 Little Creek Crossing in Cave Springs Cove Subdivision in Priceville.

Only 50 tickets at $15 each are available. Call sponsor Wheeler Basin Natural Gas Co., 974-9023, or visit Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Decatur to get tickets.
