Dinnertime entertainment

Dive into a New Orleans-style buffet, then settle back for Patricia Joudry's "The Song of Louise in the Morning" at Main Street Bistro in Hartselle.

Dinner theater productions are Oct. 7 - 8 at 7 p.m. Cost is $25 per person and reservations are required. Call 751-0031.

From left, Jerry Puckett, Jane Walker and Sylvia Barham are actors in the story of a man who loves his wife but suffers from low self-esteem. He bounces between pouring on compliments to blaming her for his perceived shortcomings and disappointments in life.

The play reveals that his obsessive possessiveness of his wife not only is suffocating her, but also is wrecking their marriage.
