Excited bidder

Audrey Dean, 6, leans in to tell her mom, Vivian Rose Dean, what to bid on a miniature Christmas tree during a silent auction benefiting Families and Children Experiencing Separation. The event at Oh! Bryan’s Steak House in Hartselle was part of the organization’s annual Christmas open house. FACES supports about 380 children within Morgan County’s protective services and foster care system. Its mission is to meet the needs of the county’s abused and neglected children. Jimmy and Gina Smith and the FACES board of directors presented the event. Other auction items included a jersey autographed by Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Carnell Williams, former Auburn standout; furniture; handmade quilts, toys, decorative items and artwork.
