'Much Ado' about baseball

Calhoun Community College’s Theatre Department puts a curve ball twist on William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado about Nothing,” turning it into a tale of a winning baseball team with all the angst of players, friends and parents.

Above, police Leiann Ohlrich, left, Jami Doyal and Jennifer Hinz accost Heather Anderson, center front, during rehearsal. Shows are at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and March 15-17, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday and March 18. Performances will be at the Black

Box Theatre in the Fine Arts Building, Calhoun’s Decatur campus.

Tickets are $8 for students and seniors, $12 general admission. Call 306-2693.
