FEATURED EVENT
Wanted: Actors for local thriller flick

Always imagined yourself on the silver screen? Now’s your chance to make it reality!

Twenty-year-old filmmaker Jon Burleson of Hartselle, who recently wrapped filming for his first feature length film called “Feast of the Vampires,” is searching for actors for a new feature-length project. No acting experience is necessary, and all work is done on a volunteer basis.

Burleson’s company, Sign Me Up! Productions, will film the thriller/horror movie in the mold of 1978’s “Halloween.” The movie will be filmed in the Hartselle area starting in August or September.

Roles are available for three women, ages 17 to 22; boys, ages 6 to 10; and girls, ages 6 to 15. Adult men are needed for the parts of the sheriff, preacher, deputy and a crazy man. Extras are also needed.

For more information or to set up an audition, contact Burleson at 309-9209 or at jon.burleson@gmail.com.
