Barbershop quartets end Concerts by the River series

A night of barbershop quartets will wrap up the Paul Stroud Concerts by the River season Monday night starting at 6 at Rhodes Ferry Park.

Rocket City Chorus of Huntsville and Southern Splendor from Athens will both perform.

Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Call 341-4904 for more info.

Events coordinator Vickie Allaway said the concert series was another success this year despite soaring temperatures.
