Women's Chamber meets today

Women’s Chamber meets Friday at Decatur Country Club at noon, with representatives from Cedar Springs hosting.

Program planner Sara Page has Katherine Helms, author of “Alabama: Rich in Flavor,” lined up to share recipe and cooking tips. Not only will Helms share how to plan a delicious holiday menu, but she will also demonstrate three dishes.

Speaking of cookbooks, Gail Holbert is heading the latest edition Women’s Chamber Cookbook, featuring favorite salad recipes. Cookbooks are $5 and will be available at the meeting, with all proceeds donated to Meals on Wheels.

Women’s Chamber meets the third Friday of each month. Anyone interested may contact Tammy Eddy at 306-0007 or 773-0808.

The cost of lunch is $11. Call Ronette Gravitt at 560-0636 or 355-7693 for reservations.
