Water park offers one-day free pass to season-end fun
Wendy's word Have you had any moments lately that define who you are or shape who you are to become? Have you enjoyed a sunrise or sunset; the closing of a door or the opening of a window; the beauty of a clear sky or the magnificence of a rainstorm? Although we would love for every minute of every day to hold the majesty of an unforgettable time, if that were the case, we would never appreciate awesome times when they happen. We certainly would never consider a hard time a memorable moment either. Whether a rose or a thorn, each moment is a piece of our life puzzle, molding the person we are. It's in looking back over our lives, realizing the incredible puzzle before our eyes, that we see the blessings of the moments. May you recognize the special moments in your life today. Now let's see what the "chatter" is for today ... Free admission Summer is not over yet, so if you are looking for one last splashing good time, Point Mallard water park will offer free admission Sunday for children ages 11 and younger. In addition, with the park's seasonal closing Monday, there will be a $5 general admission for ages 5 and older, with children ages 4 and younger free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 341-4900.
