One of the 10 people charged with impaired driving during the weekend was involved in a Decatur wreck that sent six to the hospital, authorities said.
According to a report released Monday, police charged Michael Glenn Willis, 19, of Decatur with driving under the influence after a two-car wreck Sunday at 1:05 a.m.
The report showed Willis exited the Colonial Mall parking lot and ran a traffic light on Beltline Road and Carridale Street Southwest.
Police said dense fog created poor visibility as Willis and a second vehicle traveling north on Beltline Road, collided.
Police listed Christopher Brown, 27, of Danville; Shawnrie Hershel Osborn, 26, Heath Osborn, 7, Joseph Osborn, 4, Christina Marie Osborn, 2, all of Moulton; and Margaret C. Street, 1, of Trinity as injured.
Ambulances took Brown and Joseph Osborn to Parkway Medical Center.
Medical staff treated and released Osborn, but didn't list Brown as a patient.
Police said ambulances took Shawnrie Osborn, Christina Osborn, Heath Osborn and Street to Decatur General, but the hospital didn't list them as patients.
Police booked Willis into the Decatur City Jail at 2:24 a.m. A test of his blood-alcohol-level allegedly registered .09. Alabama's legal limit is .08.
Jail officials released Willis on Sunday at 3:56 p.m.
