Man linked to murder in N.Y. arrested in Enterprise
ENTERPRISE (AP) — A man charged with two counts of murder in New York has been captured in South Alabama where he was looking for work.
U.S. marshals arrested Eric Hill on Thursday in Enterprise after receiving information from police in Rochester, N.Y., that Hill might be living there, U.S. Marshal Jesse Seroyer Jr. said in a statement Friday.
He said Hill is wanted in the shooting deaths of two men outside a night club in Rochester in October 2005.
Hill was renting a home and looking for a job as a truck driver in the Enterprise area.
Seroyer said Hill was pulled over on a traffic stop and arrested without incident.
Hill is being held in jail awaiting extradition to Rochester.
