Rep. Cramer will remain on House Appropriations Committee

U.S. Rep. Bud Cramer, D-Huntsville, said his reappointment as a majority member of the House Appropriations Committee will mean he is better able to look out for his North Alabama district, which has a heavy federal budget involvement with Redstone Arsenal and the Marshall Space Flight Center.

Cramer has served on the committee since 1998. It is one of four sought-after committees in the House and is responsible for providing funds for all areas of the federal government as well as vital programs that help meet the needs of the nation. In the 100th Congress, Cramer served on numerous subcommittees. Subcommittee assignments will be announced in January.
