Third suspect arrested in robbery

The Limestone County Sheriff's Department captured a third suspect Tuesday in a weekend robbery.

Lt. Brad Curnutt said deputies arrested Lorenzo Maurice Malone, 28, of 515 Hine St. at about 2 p.m. on Lorenzo Road.

Malone is one of the three suspects who are charged with first- degree burglary and second-degree robbery after they allegedly broke into a home on Pressnell Road at about 4 a.m. Saturday.

They apparently held a woman inside the house down and put a pillow over her face as they allegedly stole about $200 and Lortab and Xanex pills.

Malone was released from Limestone County Jail on $20,000 bond. Daniel Kalr, 31, of Elkmont and Emanuel Omar Collier, 26, of Athens are still in jail on the same charges. Bond is $20,000 for each.
