Decatur City Schools Community Education classes to begin this week

Decatur City Schools Community Education has begun registering students for winter classes.

The first classes start Monday, offering subjects such as protection from computer viruses, pottery, ballroom dancing and foreign languages. A new class this quarter especially for high school juniors and seniors is Living Skills for College.

Most single-day-only classes are $10 to $15. Most multi-week classes cost between $20 and $30, while the computer classes are $110.

For a complete list of classes, look for the community education brochures distributed around the city or go online to www.dcs.edu and follow the links through Community Partnerships to Community Education and click on Class List.
