Regional work force summit at Calhoun
The North Alabama/South Central Tennessee Work Force Innovation in Regional Economic Development will host a summit Jan. 18 at Calhoun Community College.
The summit will focus on regional work force development needs.
About 300 economic development leaders are expected to attend.
The keynote speaker is U.S. Department of Labor Assistant Secretary Emily Stover DeRocco.
Tim Alford, director of the Alabama Office of Work Force Development, and Susan Cowden, administrator of the Tennessee Employment and Work Force Development Division, also will speak.
Seating for the event is limited, but registration is free.
