Police look for home invasion suspects

Decatur police were searching Sunday for two home invasion suspects, who left clothing and weapons behind while fleeing officers.

The suspects knocked down a door at a home on 14th Avenue Southeast about 4 a.m. Sunday. A person at the house slipped out to call for help.

Officers chased the suspects through the neighborhood. During that chase, suspects reportedly left behind a hooded sweatshirt, gun and baton as they ran through yards.

Details were not available from police.
