Happy future homeowner

Lisa Owens places her handprint in clay with the help of Tennessee Valley Authority official Steven Hargrove during a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday for TVAs first Habitat for Humanity house in Decatur in honor of the legacy of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

The house will be one of four built with the help of TVA employees. Other homes will be built in Knoxville, Nashville and Memphis.

Owens will own the home being built at 2011 Eighth St. SE. Construction will begin on April 27, with most work being completed on weekends.
