2 allegedly burglarize body shop in Decatur

Decatur police caught a man and woman at a body shop Saturday and charged them with burglary.

Police said they received a call from a citizen, who reported hearing glass breaking near 14th Street and Wolverine Drive Southeast.

When officers arrived, they observed a broken door at
Ogle & Son Body Shop on 14th Street.

An occupied vehicle was parked by the door.

Inside the vehicle, police found Lisa Naomi Gaines, 41, of 1404 Seventh St. S.E.

They entered the business and found Todd Donald Ray Ogle, 39, of 612 Edgewood
St. S.W. hiding in an upstairs storage area, according to police.

Police charged each suspect with third-degree burglary. They were transferred to the Morgan County Jail.

Bonds

Gaines was released on a $750 bond, and Ogle remained in jail in lieu of $750 bond, according to jail personnel.

Information was not available on whether defendant Ogle
is related to owners of the
shop.
