Expo to join employers, potential workers

Calhoun Community College’s annual Work Force Expo on Feb. 7 will bring together local employers with young people who could become future employees.

This year’s Work Force Expo will be 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Carlton Kelley Gymnasium. More than 1,000 students, parents and educators from Morgan, Limestone, Lawrence and Madison counties attended last year’s Expo.

About 50 industries and businesses will be participating the one-day event, presented in conjunction with Morgan County Economic Development Association, Lawrence County Industrial Development Board and Limestone County Economic Development Association.
