Most expect gifts for Valentine’s

It’s Valentine’s Day, and most of the readers who responded to The Daily’s online poll expect to receive something from their sweetie.

According to the totals, it helps to be married.

Of the 216 people who voted, 118 (54.63 percent) said they expect to receive a Valentine’s Day gift.

Of those, 75 were married and 43 were single.

But a large minority of 98 (45.37 percent) said they don’t expect a gift.

Of those, 67 were single while only 31 claimed they were married.

The unscientific poll at www
