Singing a Valentine’s Day tune

Jim Ellis, left, Steve D'Ambrosio, David Deason and George Williams sing a valentine to Glynis Steele in the Decatur police records office.

They are members of the Southern Splendor Chorus, based in Athens. Three sets of quartets from the group delivered 70 singing valentines across the Tennessee Valley. Ellis, D'Ambrosio, Deason and Williams started the day in Lewisburg, Tenn.

They visited Madison and Priceville before making stops at Decatur City Hall and the Morgan County Courthouse.
