Telephone skills seminar is April 10 in Decatur

“TLC for VIPs,” a telephone skills seminar conducted by customer service and telemarketing expert Eileen Shenker, will be April 10 in Decatur.

The event will be at the Holiday Inn at Wilson Street and Sixth Avenue Northeast.

This upbeat, two-hour seminar will benefit all businesses that use the telephone to communicate with their clients, according to Shenker, who conducts similar “sell-out” seminars in cities across the U.S. and Canada.

Tips on projecting a positive company image, handling complaints, how to listen effectively and building rapport are some of the areas that will be explored during the seminar.

Registration is $29 ($39 after March 16) per person, with a choice of two sessions, either 9 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 3 p.m. Space is limited so register early.
