Volunteer Center to honor hard work

The Volunteer Center of Morgan County is sponsoring the Presidentís Volunteer Service Awards for residents of Morgan County in recognition of volunteer service hours performed in 2006.

Bronze, silver and gold volunteer awards are presented to individuals, groups and families, and are based on the number of volunteer hours. Volunteers must submit a record of service to the Volunteer Center to be considered for the award. Deadline for submission of volunteer hours is March 29. Qualifying recipients receive a personalized certificate of achievement, a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States and an official gold, silver or bronze Presidentís Award pin.
