Cramer, task force seek veteran input

If you are a veteran with thoughts on the accessibility, timeliness and delivery of federal benefits and services, a congressman wants to hear from you.

U.S. Rep. Bud Cramer, D-Huntsville, has asked veterans from North Alabama to share their Veterans Affairs experiences to the Presidentís Task Force on Returning Global War on Terror Heroes.

The task force was formed this month to improve the way combat veterans seek services and benefits from the VA and other federal agencies. The task force seeks comment from active duty service members, veterans, family members and others.

To share your experiences or leave your suggestions on how to improve the VA and other federal agencies, please contact the task force. By mail, write to Task Force on Returning Global War on Terror Heroes, c/o Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy and Planning, Department of Veterans Affairs, 810 Vermont Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20420. By e-mail, send to TFHeroes@va.gov.
