Morgan EMA, volunteer center to offer disaster training sessions
The Volunteer Center of Morgan County and the county’s Emergency Management Agency are cooperating to provide emergency response training for residents.
Community Emergency Response Training educates people about disaster preparedness and teaches them disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical treatments.
The Volunteer Center will have its first session April 10 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Sessions will follow each Tuesday night through May 29.
The sessions will be at Hospice of the Valley in Decatur.
Seating is limited.
