Falkville residents get OK on rezoning

FALKVILLE — Falkville residents Danny and Connie Barnett on Tuesday cleared the first hurdle in having their lot rezoned from residential to commercial.

The Falkville Planning Commission recommended to the Town Council that it approve the rezoning after a public hearing.

The Barnetts live at 25 Douglas Road, in front of the property where Love's Travel Stop is locating. They hope to sell their house and one-fourth acre lot for a business.
