Separate motorcycle crashes in Morgan County sent two drivers to Huntsville Hospital, where one was in surgery late Friday.

State troopers said Bobby McDuffee's motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash on Old Highway 31 five miles south of Falkville at 4:10 p.m.

McDuffee, 27, of Vinemont was flown to Huntsville Hospital, where he was undergoing surgery at press time, according to a hospital spokeswoman. His condition was not available.

McDufee was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, troopers said.

Another wreck on Alabama 20 at McEntire Lane near Decatur injured two people.

Michael Parker, 46, of Trinity was flown to Huntsville Hospital after his motorcycle and another vehicle collided shortly after 3 p.m., troopers said.

Parker remained in good condition in a regular room, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Parker was wearing a helmet, troopers said.

Troopers said the other driver, Lauran Hampton, 21, of Decatur also suffered injuries. Her condition was not immediately available.
