Victimís husband passenger in wreck

SOMERVILLE — State troopers identified the man injured in a Friday wreck as the husband of the woman killed.

MedFlight transported Wayne Brown, 29, of Quinton from the scene to Huntsville Hospital. Details about his condition were not available, but a trooper said he was expected to live.

Morgan County Coroner Russ Beard pronounced Jessica Brown, 24, also of Quinton, dead at the scene. An erroneous report Saturday said she was from Somerville.

Jessica Brown was driving north on Mount Tabor Road, apparently crossing Alabama 36, when she collided with a tractor-trailer about 6:30 p.m.

The driver of the rig, Hollis A. Morgan, 52, of Muscle Shoals, was not injured.
