Archery range is on target

Jerry Davis, past president of Limestone County Tourism Council, Michelle Doerr, with the Archery Trade Association, Jeanette Rich, with the Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce, and Stuart Goldsby with the Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries chat in the area that will soon be the Athens Public Archery Range.

The Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Monday for the archery range. It is planned for the park behind Athens High School on Swann Creek.
