Trinity man charged with multiple thefts

TRINITY — Lawrence Sheriff's investigators added a long list of theft and burglary charges to a Trinity man's rap sheet Thursday.

Tyler Love, 19, of 61 Lawrence County 357 was arrested Wednesday after officers found numerous stolen items and drugs in his home, according to Investigator Lt. Tim McWhorter.

Further investigation

Narcotics agents charged him with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at that time, but investigators held theft charges pending further investigation.

That investigation led them to believe that Love was involved in several car break-ins and house burglaries in the East Lawrence area and Decatur.

List of charges

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department charged him Thursday with four counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, third-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree theft
of property and four counts
of third-degree theft of property.

Love remained in the Lawrence County Jail on Thursday in lieu of $22,500 bond.
