Lawrence Chamber relocates, seeks to hire receptionist

MOULTON — The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce office has relocated from the Commission building to the ReMax building on Alabama 157.

Executive Director Vicki Morese said the move is a major improvement.

Morese, the chamberís only full-time employee, worked in a 10-by-10-foot office before scoring a 900-square-foot business space down the street.

ďItís a great location because itís a high traffic area, and we have a lot more room,Ē she said.

In addition to the new office, the chamber will also have a new employee.

Morese is accepting applications for a receptionist through the North-central Alabama Regional Council of Governments senior aide program.

Applicants must be at least 55 years old. Income restrictions also apply.

Morese said job-seekers can pick up information about the position and fill out applications at the Chamber of Commerceís new office.
