Readers: Discipline scientist in DNA case

By almost 2-to-1, readers responding to The Daily’s online poll said a Michigan forensics scientist should be disciplined if she misused state resources.

The poll asked, “Should Michigan forensics scientist Ann Chamberlain-Gordon be disciplined if she used state resources for a DNA test to find out whether her husband was cheating?”

Yes votes totaled 109, or 65.27 percent, while only 58 people, or 34.73 percent, voted no.

The unscientific poll at www.decaturdaily.com ended Friday at 5 p.m.
