Free movie Thursday at Point Mallard

Movie in the Park returns Thursday night with "Flushed Away."

The DreamWorks Animation film is the story of an uptown rat flushed down the toilet of his penthouse. He ends up in the sewers of London, where learns a new way of life.

The event is free, sponsored by Decatur Parks and Recreation. It will show at the Point Mallard Expo Center (old ice rink) starting at about 8:30.

Free popcorn and Pepsi products are available while supplies last. Guests should come with their own chairs and can bring food. There are no picnic tables.

The next movie in the park is "Happy Feet," playing Aug. 2 at Point Mallard.
