Truck overturns south of Decatur; 1 flown to hospital

NEEL — A MedFlight helicopter flew a man to a hospital Sunday night after he lost control of his pickup.

The truck flipped several times and came to rest in some woods about 10:15, a police officer said. The location is south of Decatur but in its police jurisdiction.

A state trooper identified the driver as David Olean Ryan, 27. He was the only person in the truck, which had a Morgan County tag. Ryan was driving south on Neel School Road when he wrecked at Bernice’s Private Drive.

No further details were available.
