Driver gets out

The driver of this vehicle abandoned it before it became engulfed in flames Sunday at about 6 p.m. in the median of Interstate 65, just south of Huntsville-Brownsferry Road.

Bobo Dugger of Decatur, returning from a trip to Tennessee, shot this picture. South Limestone and Tanner volunteer fire departments doused the blaze, which also torched most of the median.

State troopers did not report any injuries.
