2 Sparkman students linked to bomb threats
HUNTSVILLE (AP) — Two Sparkman High School students were arrested and charged Friday with making bomb threats at the school.
Madison County sheriff’s Chief Deputy Chris Stephens said a 17-year-old girl was taken to the Neaves-Davis Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of making terrorist threats, a Class C felony. The age of the other girl wasn’t immediately available.
Both names were withheld because of their juvenile status, Stephens said. At least three more arrests are expected in the case.
Sparkman has received five bomb threats since the first day of school Aug. 2.
