Ex-postal clerk, 67, gets probation, fine
MOBILE (AP) — A former postal clerk from Baldwin County who admitted stealing holiday gift cards sent through the mail last Christmas was sentenced to three years’ probation.
U.S. District Judge Kristi DuBose adopted prosecutors’ recommendation Friday in sentencing 67-year-old Ellen Bosch, whose daughter is a Baldwin County judge. DuBose also fined her $500, ordered her to pay $495 to compensate her victims and to seek mental health treatment.
Bosch, of Foley, a federal postal employee for more than two decades, pleaded guilty in June to possession of stolen mail.
