Bartlett, George to speak at church meeting in Lacey’s Spring

LACEY’S SPRING — Morgan County Sheriff Greg Bartlett and District 4 Commissioner Stacy George will speak at a meeting here Tuesday night at 7 at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Deacon Barry Dunlap said the gathering is a follow-up to a July 24 meeting, when Bartlett spoke on alleged prostitution in the community.

George spoke briefly, giving support to the sheriff.

Since the July meeting, one of the group’s targets, Top Notch spa, closed.

Another, Illusion Spa at 1138 U.S. 231, reopened following a fire.
