Grand jury gets dog ax-death case
ST. CLAIR COUNTY (AP) — A Ragland man who allegedly killed a dog with an ax has been bound over to a grand jury. District Court Judge Phil Seay sent the state's case against Roy Michael Edge, 54, to the grand jury Tuesday to decide if an indictment should be returned. Edge is charged with felony animal cruelty after he allegedly killed the dog with an ax in July and the dog's owner filed a report with the Sheriff.
