Limestone Night of Bands September 25
By Holly Hollman hhollman@decaturdaily.com · 340-2445 CAPSHAW — Five bucks won't buy much gas, but it will buy music lovers a night of entertainment. The Limestone County Night of Bands will be Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. at East Limestone High School's football stadium. East Limestone Band Director Jennifer Janzen said the county's marching bands have not held the exhibition in two years. "We decided to bring it back because it's a great opportunity for you to see the bands perform their halftime shows and give the bands a chance to practice before contest season starts," Janzen said. Spectators can buy tickets from any of the county's band members. That money goes to the individual bands. Tickets sold at the gate and concession stand proceeds will fund the cost of hosting the event.
