CORRECTIONS

Evelyn Parker said her husband, Gilbert, is not deceased, as area residents said, and reported in Friday's Daily in a "Hiding in plain sight" arti-cle. She said they have owned the property at 1089 Center Springs Road in Somerville for 36 years. She confirmed she wasn't at home when the reporter visited and said their telephone number is unlisted. "We're going to clean up our property," she said. "We should have it done within the next month and a half."

Also, the telephone number listed in Thursday's Happenings page for the Trail of Tears stop in Madison was incorrect. The Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau provided the number. It is incorrect in their listings.

The Daily regrets the errors and is glad to set the record straight.
