PRICEVILLE — Mardi Gras, powder puff football, dodge ball and pirates highlight Priceville High’s homecoming week.

On Monday, students will wear Mardi Gras costumes or pajamas. They’ll dress up as their favorite book, comic or TV character Tuesday. The junior girls will take on the senior girls in the powder puff football game at 1 p.m.

Point Mallard Parkway Baptist Church is sponsoring the fifth annual “See You at the Pole” breakfast Wednesday in the family ministry center from 6:15 until 7 a.m. Students will then go to the school and pray before school starts.

Arrrgh! Wednesday is pirate day, featuring a scavenger hunt during the 9:40 a.m. class break. Retired Green Bay Packers football player Mike McCoy will talk to students at 10 a.m.

Thursday is “Opposite Day,” as the students will be wearing their clothes backwards and inside-out. Banners must be ready for judging at 7 a.m. Break time will feature hallway dodge ball, and robotics dodge ball is at 10 a.m.

The school day ends at noon Thursday, followed by parent-teacher conferences. The homecoming parade is at 6 p.m.

Friday is “Black and Gold Day.” Class break will feature a dance-off. The pep rally is during seventh period.

The crowning of the homecoming queen will occur at halftime of Priceville’s football game against visiting Danville.
