FLORETTE — The sights and sounds of New Orleans will come to Brewer High School as students celebrate a Mardi Gras-style homecoming.

The Patriots take on Hayden in the homecoming football game Friday at 7 p.m.

Monday is “Pajama Day.” Students will wear colorful clothes and wild hats to celebrate “Fat Tuesday.”

The students will dress up as their favorite superhero or villain Wednesday.

Thursday is “Decade Day.” Freshman will bring back 1950s styles. Sophomores will break out funky ’60s styles.

Juniors will strut in ’70s styles and seniors will jam in ’80s styles.

The traditional bonfire is Thursday evening at 7:30.

Students will show their Patriot spirit as they wear red, white and blue on Friday. The pep rally is at 2 p.m. at the football stadium.

One of four seniors will be crowned at halftime of the football game. Brooke Kinney, Beth Johnson, Patricia Murry and Tori Francis are the senior attendants and candidates for homecoming queen.
