Theft investigation leads to arrest MOULTON — A Trinity man was in Lawrence County Jail on Wednesday charged with receiving stolen property, Sheriff Gene Mitchell said. Lawrence County Sheriff's investigators arrested Christopher Thomas Kirby, 40, of 349 Lawrence County 353 on charges of first-degree receiving stolen property, Mitchell said. The arrest was the result of an investigation of a stolen Bobcat front-end loader discovered on Kirby's property Sept. 13. Kirby allegedly knew the Bobcat was stolen when he received it, Mitchell said. Kirby was in Lawrence County Jail Wednesday in lieu of $15,000 bond. Mitchell said an investigation into the theft is ongoing and additional arrests could be made later. Nancy Glasscock Man charged with indecent exposure HARTSELLE — Hartselle police arrested a 33-year-old man Wednesday and charged him with two counts of indecent exposure. Lt. Justin Barley said George LaShone Harris of 1224 Autumn Lane exposed "himself in a manner which he could be easily viewed by nearby neighbors." Harris is being held in the Hartselle City Jail in lieu of $3,000 bond.
