Catholic bishop to be installed

Bishop Robert Baker’s installation as bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown Birmingham. Among those in a procession into the church will be Cardinal Justin Rigali of Philadelphia and the Most Rev. Pietro Sambi, apostolic nuncio to the United States.

The service will be broadcast live on EWTN Network. The diocese represents almost 90,000 Catholics in 39 North Alabama counties.
