’Today’ segment on Decatur scheduled to air at 7:40 a.m.

“Today” plans to air a segment on Decatur City Schools on Tuesday at about 7:40 a.m., on NBC TV, said Producer Paul Manson on Monday.

Manson and real estate correspondent Barbara Corcoran visited Decatur on Friday and spent about 41/2 hours in the city.

“Today” Executive Producer Jim Bell sent Corcoran, Manson and crew to Decatur because of a negative comment Corcoran made about Decatur’s schools during a Sept. 20 segment on housing prices.
