No Mega Yard Sale for Moulton

MOULTON — The Mega Yard sale scheduled for Friday and Saturday has been canceled, Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Vicki Morese said Wednesday.

Morese said the event, to be held at the Moulton Lions Club, was canceled because of a city ordinance that prohibits yard sales at businesses.

Residents can hold yard sales at their homes, so the annual Highway 101 Yard Sale from Moulton to Lawrenceburg, Tenn., is still set for this weekend, Morese said.

In addition, the Moulton Lions Club is offering a SWAMP JOHN’s dinner for $8 a plate, Morese said.
