MOULTON — The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department arrested two East Lawrence men Wednesday in connection with an 11-month-old burglary case.

Investigators arrested Jamie Lynn Terry, 23, of 7873 Lawrence County 170, and charged him with first-degree theft of property and third-degree burglary.

Sheriff Gene Mitchell said the burglary of a Lawrence County 170 residence, less than 1 mile from Terry's home, occurred in November 2006. Investigators developed Terry as a suspect after recovering some of the stolen property about a week ago.

Mitchell said investigators pulled Terry over in a traffic stop Wednesday at about 10:30 a.m. After questioning Terry, they placed him under arrest.

The sheriff said investigators also arrested Thomas Luke Osteen, 26, of 7873 Lawrence County 170, Wednesday at about 5 p.m. for allegedly helping Terry sell some of the stolen property. They charged Osteen with first-degree receiving stolen property.

Investigators placed both in Lawrence County Jail. Terry was released on $5,000 bond, while Osteen is out on $2,000 bond.
